6. Install an additional battery to processor

Position to install an additional battery
depends on the position where RAID
Controller is installed. See the figure to the
right.
(The number indicates installation order.)
7. Connect the cable of additional battery to
RAID Controller.
When connecting the cable, orient the
cable so that its marking will fit the
connector.
8. Attach the RAID Controller to the rise card.
For how to install RAID Controller, refer to
Chapter 2 (1.13 PCI Card).
9. Insert the riser card into the slot of the
motherboard and fix the riser card with the
screw which you removed in earlier step.
For how to install riser card, refer to
Chapter 2 (1.13 PCI Card).
10. Attach the duct which extra battery is
installed.

1.11.3 Removal

For removing the extra battery for the RAID Controller, reverse the installation procedure.
