INSTALLATION
Installing the Valdis
backrest
TM
Please read all the following instructions before beginning installation. The steps required to properly install the
Valdis
TM
backrest must be followed in the order that they are listed.
Required tool: Square screwdriver #2 (North America) or " Phillips" screwdriver (Europe)
1. Open the zippers of the backrest post covers and slide
them onto the back post.
2. Fasten screws A through upper grommets with a
screwdriver.
3. Insert upper straps B into tightening buckles and
fasten with Velcro strips.
4. Insert each adjustable tension strap into tightening
buckle.
5. Adjust the tension of each strap individually to obtain
a lumbar support adapted to the occupant's needs
and fasten with Velcro strips.
6. Insert cable ties D through lower grommets and fasten
the backrest to the wheelchair frame.
WARNING
Do not tighten the straps excessively, this may deform the back post.
