10. Operation with RailCom

Requirements
For reading out the data via RailCom, special detectors and boosters
compatible with RailCom are required.
It is not possible to read out data via RailCom unless the CV#29 (DCC
format) or the register #07 (Motorola format) of the FD-R
switched on.
RailCom-Messages can only be transferred in model railway layouts with
a DCC signal on the rails. When the FD-R
with a Motorola decoder, RailCom messages cannot be sent unless
simultaneuously at least one other locomotive or function decoder is
controlled in DCC-Format.
