    Chapter 2 Installation This is a half form factor (20’’ x 6.5’’, 50 cm x 16.5 cm) motherboard. Before you install the motherboard, study the configuration of your chassis to ensure that the motherboard fits into it. EP2C621/EP2C622 Series are dual socket motherboards that support Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processor.

Before you insert the CPU into the socket, please check if the PnP cap is on the socket, if the CPU surface is unclean, or if there are any bent pins in the socket. Do not force to insert the CPU into the socket if above situation is found.

CPU turbo ratio can be fixed when Intel SpeedStep Technology set Disabled and Intel Turbo Boost Technology set En- abled.
