Cleaning the Guide Rods

Be careful not to touch the nozzle with the Cleaning Applicator. Also, be careful not to adhere the
wiped solid ink or lint to the nozzle. Also, be careful to keep the nozzle area dry (no cleaning fluid)
while cleaning the side of the print head. All of these can cause the nozzle out.
When cleaning the guide rods, try to avoid touching the encoder or the carriage belt. This may
cause the printer to not operate properly.
