Faults and spare parts

Extended periods of inactivity
In case of an assembly remains
out of service for a long time, it is
necessary following these checks before
restarting:
• Making sure there are no foreign bodies
inside
• Cleaning frame and devices
• Checking insulation level according with
CEI EN 61439 paragraph 11.9
• Making sure switches of device are set
on open (OFF, before powering)
• Closing devices gradually
(page 21).
Spare parts
Operating instructions and SIEMENS
catalogues contain spare parts
descriptions.
Spare parts consist in contacts,
arcing chambers and contactor
coils.
They are also available
for SIVACON S4 and ALPHA switchboards.
Order numbers are written in catalogues.
Tools
• Motorized screwdriver with an
adjustable torque (4 Nm, 8 Nm)
• Torx M6 1/4" bit, 50 mm long
• Torx M6 1/4" bit, 200 mm long
• Torque spanner with setting ranges up
to 90 Nm
• Open hand / hexagon head spanner:
M6, M8, M10 and M12.
