Only a technician or engineer trained in the local and national electrical standards should perform tasks associated with the electrical wiring of this device.

    PORT 1 RS485 MODBUS NETWORK WIRING Use cables to network devices that meet specs of Belden Cable P/N 3106A Multi -Conductor – EIA Industrial RS-485 PLTC/CM or equivalent: • 22AWG stranded (7x30) tinned copper conductors, Datalene insulation, twisted pairs, overall Beldfoil shield(100% coverage) plus a tinned copper braid(65% coverage), drain wire, UV resistant PVC jacket.
  • Page 6 RS485: PIN OUT Use RS485 to create a multi-drop network containing up to 32 devices. Note: port #1 is set to RS485 ▪ Note that the ports are not isolated. If controller is used with a non-isolated external device, avoid potential voltage that exceeds +/- 10V.
