For the final adjustment the patient
should put on his shoe while wearing
the orthosis. Use the hex key to adjust
the joint resistance for dorsiflexion. Tur-
ning the screw clockwise will increase
the joint resistance. Turning the screw
anti-clockwise will make foot movement
in dorsiflexion easier. To finish the
adjustment of the orthosis you can
customize the sole for the patient by
thermoforming (fig. 3).

Comfort/Hygiene

Do not wear the orthosis directly
on the skin, but instead over thin
clothing (e.g. a sock of appropriate
length).

Orthosis, sole, calf strut:
Polypropylene
Polster, Wadenband:
Polyamide, woven textile
Product Care/
Cleaning/Maintenance
• For the textile component:
Hand wash only.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not iron.
Do not dry-clean.
• For the sole and the rigid calf frame:
Clean with a wet cloth.
