Installation and connection

Installation

Carefully unpack the device and store the original packaging carefully. The carton and packing material
are specially designed for this device and will be a safe container during any later transports. Set up the
device at a proper place. Please observe all notes on connection and set-up in the chapter Safety notes
(pages 10 and 11).

Connection

To use the MP 200 with all its functions and sources, first you have to make some important connections
and/or connect antennas.
The necessary connections are described below:
Do not connect the MP 200 and the other components to the power supply until all the necessary con-

nections have been established.

WLAN antenna

To connect the MP 200 to your network (router) via WLAN, connect one of the two supplied antennas to the
WLAN socket.
In case of poor reception conditions, the antenna can be

mounted on the supplied antenna base and placed free-
standing.
This antenna is not required if the device is connected to the Internet via a wired network (LAN).

LAN

For the connection to your network (router), connect the network cable to the LAN port.
When using the WLAN connection, this socket must remain free!
