Operating and Maintenance Instructions
To assure proper usage, we ask you to read these operating instructions
carefully before installation and commissioning of the control device
NOTE: The table below identifies the features compatible with your controller's firmware issue number. This
is shown on the LCD screen during power up and on the label at the back of the printed circuit board.

If the controller's RS485 Slave port is being used, and the system has been designed using a controller whose
firmware issue is 6 or below, please activate the "BMS Compatibility" option according to the firmware issue of the
previous controller. See H21 – Advanced Settings – BMS Compatibility for more details.
Please note that the "BMS Compatibility" option is only available after initial configuration.

The Modbus Display & Control is only suitable for a safety extra low voltage supply of 9VDC up to 57VDC
CAUTION – Electro-Static Discharge
• Many modern electronic components are susceptible to damage from Electro-Static Discharge (Static
Electricity). During programming and commissioning, avoid unnecessary contact with electronic
components on PCB's. PCB's are sensitive to static discharges so should be stored and transported in
anti-static packaging until they are required to be used.
Warning – Do not operate in an explosive atmosphere
Warning – The fans may start during connection and programming. If there is a residual risk of
contact with a fan, then contact shall be prevented by suitable control methods to prevent accidental
contact
