Operating and Maintenance Instructions
Measurement Unit (See H13 – Adv. Settings - Sensor Reading
Unit): this submenu is only available when the controller has been configured to read one or more differential
pressure sensors and it allows the selection between metric and imperial:
m
/h (cubic metre per hour) or CFM (cubic feet per minute) for volume.
3
Pa (Pascal) or in.w.g. (inch water gauge) for pressure.
PID Settings (See H15 – Advanced Settings – PID Settings): this submenu is only available when the controller's
operating mode has been configured to constant volume/constant pressure and it allows the configuration of the P,
I and D elements of the controller's PID control.
Caution: Incorrect PID settings may cause unstable operation of the control loop
Sensor Reading (See H13 – Adv. Settings - Sensor Reading
Unit): this submenu is only available when using two or more differential pressure sensors and it allows the
configuration of how the total volume/pressure is calculated after all sensors have been read by the controller:
Sum (default value for volume): the sum of all sensor readings
Average (default value for pressure): the average across all sensors
Minimum: the lowest value across all sensors
Maximum: the highest value across all sensors
RPM Limit (See H16 – Advanced Settings – RPM Limit) : configures the maximum RPM limit of the fans. The
new settings will be stored in non-volatile memory in the fans, after which the fans and controller will perform a
power reset to activate the new operating parameters.
RPM Limit All Fans
o Custom RPM: Broadcasts a custom RPM to all fans.
o Set to Max RPM: Read the maximum RPM limit of each fan and use this data to set each fan to
its maximum RPM limit.
RPM Limit Single Fan: Provides a list of all fans and their individual RPM limits to allow setting the RPM
limit individually.
0-10V Control Cap (See H17 – Adv. Settings – 0-10V Control Cap): this submenu is only available when the
controller has been configured to "Monitor" mode and it allows the configuration of the minimum and maximum 0-
10V control input the fans will respond to. The values configured here are broadcast to all fans and stored in their
non-volatile memory followed by a power reset to activate the new parameters.
0-10V Input Cap (See H17 – Adv. Settings – 0-10V Control Cap
this submenu is only available when the controller has been configured to "Monitor & Control" operating mode and
it allows the configuration of the minimum and maximum 0-10V control input the controller will respond to. Values
configured here are saved in the controller's non-volatile memory and used to cap the speed setpoint sent to fans.
Alarm Output (See H19 – Advanced Settings – Alarm Output): configures the alarm output settings such as
enabled/disabling the onboard relay and selecting the type of faults that will cause the alarm to trip:
Relay Operation: on this submenu it is possible to enable the onboard relay operation and select if fan
alarms, fan warnings or both would cause the relay to open.
Volume/Pressure Alarm: available when monitoring a sensor or when in constant volume / pressure
operating mode.
