Operating and Maintenance Instructions
Airline connections (constant volume / volume monitoring): Care must be taken to keep the connections
equidistant from the sensor. An example of "4 fans 2 sensors" system is shown below:
Figure 20 – Example of sensor airline connections in a 4-fan 2-sensors constant volume system
Note: All sensors must have the same pressure range
Airline connections (constant pressure / pressure monitoring): Inlet rings are not required for constant
pressure or pressure monitoring systems, and therefore one of the airlines can be placed anywhere in front of the
fans and the other is placed anywhere behind the fans. An example of a "4 fan 2-sensor" constant pressure system
or pressure monitoring system is shown below.

8.2 Controller configuration and automatic sensor mapping

How to set the parameters: after selecting either "Constant Volume / Pressure" as the operating mode, or "Monitor
& Control" with "Sensor Monitor Enabled", select "Fan" as the "Sensor Input" and then select the input terminal of
the fan where the sensor is connected to. Proceed with the configuration of the other parameters e.g. target unit,
sensor type, etc, and once finished, the controller will reset and start the "Sensor Mapper" where tests will be
performed by the controller to identify all pressure sensors in the system.
Important: Ensure the area around the fans is clear and personal access is prevented before
acknowledging the "Sensor Mapper" warning screen as the controller will immediately run all fans at a
Note 1: Multi-sensor operation is not permissible during "Monitor" operating mode. In that case, the
"Sensor Input" will be defaulted to "Controller" and the controller will look for a 0-10V differential pressure
Note 2: It is possible to abort the sensor mapping process by selecting the "Abort" option. The controller
will then be automatically set to Monitor and Control operating mode, with the control mode as per last
