Operating and Maintenance Instructions
The wiring diagram when using a differential pressure sensor connected to the controller:

See Section 6.0 Pressure Sensor Connections where it shows how to correctly install the pressure sensor to
the fan and/or the equipment.
CAUTION: Risk of damaging the fans if two power supplies are connected at the same time:
Do not connect fans' 10VDC output to the controller if the controller is powered from an external power
CAUTION: Risk of damaging the sensor if the controller's power supply voltage exceeds the maximum
Check the sensor voltage input rating before connecting it to the controller.
CAUTION: Risk of damaging the controller's 0-10V input. Any signals higher than 12V may damage the 0-
Check the sensor voltage output range before connecting it to the controller.
To monitor one or more pressure sensors using the 0-10V input of the fans, select "Fan" as the "Sensor Input".
Please see Section 8.0 Multi-Sensor Operation for more details.

5.5 Constant volume or constant pressure operating mode

The controller can be used with one or multiple 0-10V differential pressure sensors to maintain a volume or pressure
set point in the system in which the fans are installed. The controller automatically controls the speed of the fans
based on the input from the sensors and the configured constant volume or constant pressure setpoint.
If the controller is set to Constant Volume / Constant Pressure operating mode, the Power Meter and Summary
Screen will include a real-time display of the volume / pressure being maintained by the fan array as reported by
one or multiple differential pressure sensors.
From the Power Meter and Summary Screen, it is possible to adjust the constant volume/pressure setpoint using
the keypad by pressing the ENTER button twice whilst holding UP and DOWN buttons, see H6 – Fan Status. It is
also possible to adjust the constant volume/pressure setpoint via Modbus, please see Appendix E – Modbus
Holding Registers for Configuration & Control.
A volume or pressure alarm can be configured (see H19 – Advanced Settings – Alarm Output) which will trip
when the fans reach 100% speed and the reported volume / pressure is below the constant volume / pressure
setpoint. There is a time delay between when the alarm condition is sensed and when the controller opens the
alarm relay and turns on the red LED status indicator.
The response of the system when in Constant Volume / Constant Pressure mode is adjusted by changing the
Proportional, Integral and Derivative (PID) parameters using either the 'Main Menu>Advanced Settings>PID
