Description
Creates a folder that can be identified by the backup source. Depending
on the item selected for backup, you will have a variety of options
available to you.
Creates a backup log file that features a history of backup jobs, and if your
system is not performing backups properly, the backup log file can be
used to troubleshoot the issues.
Enables the option to encrypt your files as they get transferred to the
backup target during a backup job.
When encryption is enabled, throughput is reduced, which could result in
slower data processing.
Enables the option to compress your files as they get transferred to the
backup target during a backup job. By compressing and reducing a file's
size, its transfer speed can improve.
This data is not backed up as a single archive. Also, this option should not
be selected if you are backing up to a USB hard drive.
Enables the option to execute a backup, even if the current backup
process is disrupted.
Enables the option to overwrite all unmodified files during a backup job.
