Having Images Shot with the Camera Sent to a Smartphone
Automatically (Auto Send)
While "On" is selected for this setting, snapshots shot with the camera are sent
wirelessly to the smartphone when certain conditions are satisfied. The camera's
[WLAN] lamp will be flashing or lit while an image send operation is in progress.
IMPORTANT!
• "On" cannot be selected for Auto Send unless the camera is registered on the G'z
EYE app (page 22).
NOTE
• Movies are not sent using Auto Send.
• Auto Send can be used only with a smartphone that supports Bluetooth. Both a
Bluetooth and wireless LAN connection are required between the camera and
smartphone to auto send camera images.
• You can specify the size of the image sent to the smartphone using "Resize When
Sending" (page 47).
• You can use the smartphone apps below to view snapshots after sending them.
– iPhone: Camera Roll
– Android terminal: Gallery, Photo, or another photo browser app
• Images shot while the Auto Send setting is "On" will be sent to the smartphone,
even if the Auto Send setting is changed to "Off" before they are sent.
• If the connection between the camera and smartphone is terminated while there
are still unsent images, Auto Send will be cancelled. The next time the camera and
smartphone are turned on and the camera enters the Sleep Mode, the Auto Send
operation will restart.
• If you delete an image that has not yet been sent to the smartphone, it will not be
included in the next Auto Send.
• Auto send is not performed after the camera is unregistered from the G'z EYE app.
• You can use the G'z EYE app to cancel an ongoing Auto Send operation.
