K. Install removable stop.
After closer is installed and all adjustments are
complete, install removable stop. (Figure 20)
NOTE: DO NOT drill holes into closer cover plate.
You've now installed the Model 93 Overhead Concealed Closer.

Symptom
Spring tension not strong enough
Latch speed control not fast enough
Door hung on product other than
center pivot
Arm is not preloaded
Spring tension is set too strong

Cause
Increase opening force.

Adjust latch speed valve.

Send template for hanging means
to factory. A new installation sheet
is required. Closer will need to be
relocated.
