MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Once the battery is charged initially, never add diluted sulphuric
acid. Use only distilled water for topping up. Never add tap water.
Do not pull battery by its wires while removing.
Never check the battery charge by shorting terminals. Always
connect the positive terminals first and the negative to avoid
sparking.
Do not obstruct, bend or change the routing of the air vent tube of
battery. Make sure that the vent tube is firmly attached to the battery
and the other end is open and clear.
FUSE
A fuse case having 10 Amps fuse (blade type) is fitted on the
front side of utility box below the seat. If the fuse is blown
off, follow the procedure:
1.
Open the seat as explained in page 23.
2. Take out the fuse case from the utility box.
3. Open the fuse case and pull out the blown fuse.
4. Fix a new fuse (extra fuse is provided in the wiring
harness itself in a pouch).
5. Turn the ignition switch 'ON' and check for the proper
working of battery operated electrical systems.
Good Fuse
Incase the fuse blows off again, consult the nearest TVS
Motor Company Authorised Distributor or Dealer /
Authorised Service Centres.
