4. Preparing for the measurement

Inserting the batteries
• Remove
the
battery
compartment lid on the
left side of the device.
• Insert two 1.5 V AAA (al-
kaline type LR03) batter-
ies. Make sure that the batteries are inserted the correct
way round. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Close the battery compartment lid again carefully.
If the battery change symbol
no more measurements are possible and you must replace
all batteries.
