BARONESS PEDESTRIAN MOWERS GROOMER ADJUSTMENT The setting bar for the Baroness LM56/66 range of mowers has two adjusting screws which are used as follows: Height of Cut Setting Screw Groomer height setting screw. If no groomer is fitted then this screw is not used.

Before you can adjust the groomer you will need to make sure that the height of cut is set correctly. With the height of cut already set, fit the setting bar to the machine as shown so that the underside of the head of the height of cut adjusting screw is sitting on the cutting surface of the bottom blade and that ends of the setting bar are...

Next, loosen the two adjuster nuts which are locked together by holding the bottom one fixed whilst rotating the top one anti-clockwise. The top nut should then come loose allowing both nuts to be rotated. Repeat this on both sides of the machine. Loosen the top not by twisting it anticlockwise, and moving it away from the bottom adjuster nut.

Tighten the groomer height locking nuts on both sides of the machine. Re-check the groomer height setting and if necessary re-adjust. Once the groomer height is locked off and checked to be correct you will then need to lock off the groomer adjuster nuts.
