APPENDIX A – GNSS RECEIVER DETAILS
NOTE: These settings are required for rate control, assisted/auto steering, and tilt sensor operation, as well as proper implement operation.

4. Exit this screen to begin initializing the GNSS receiver. A pop-up message will appear during the initialization. This takes about a minute.
GENERAL SETTINGS
GNSS Port
The COM port can be set to "Internal" to use the
internal GNSS receiver and transmit out, or "External"
to receive external GNSS data.
►Internal – uses position data from the internal
GNSS receiver; these NMEA data are sent out
the RS-232 serial "Port A" of the harness at the
selected GNSS Data Rate
►External – uses position data from an externally
attached GNSS receiver attached to the RS-232
serial "Port A" of the harness
NOTE: An external receiver is required to work with
TerraStar, OmniStar HP/XP, or RTK position
data.
External Receiver Minimum Configuration
Requirements
Before the console will connect and work with an
external GNSS receiver, these minimum configuration requirements must be met.
