Description of unit

Application

The Bosch emissions analysis, hereinafter referred to as
BEA, is used for the user-friendly execution of exhaust
gas measurements on vehicles. Test samples are the
whole range of gasoline and diesel vehicles, which are
used in road traffic and on which emissions measure-
ments have to be carried out, on the one hand due to
legal measures and on the other hand to localize and rec-
tify faults, within the framework of the workshop visit.
BEA is subject to the calibration duty for exhaust gas
measurement devices and must be calibrated regularly.

In order to be able to operate BEA, a country-specific
supplementary equipment set with ESA software must
be available.
