10.5.4 Checking the residual-current device

− This may only be performed by a qualified electrician.
− Safety goggles
− Safety gloves (hazardous substances)
− Software handbook
− Electrical engineering documents (see customer folder)
Exit the PACS process software.
− See the software handbook for further information.
Shut down the control computer.
Open the control box.
The pressure monitor cuts off all currents to electrical
consumers.
Check that the device is voltage-free at the output terminals of
the pressure monitor and other contactors if applicable. To do
this, open the power supply box using a double-bit key.
If no voltage is present, then the pressure monitor is working
properly.
− See electrical engineering documentation for further
information.
Close the power supply box and lock it at both locks.
Close the control box and secure all catches with safety bolts.
The analyzer starts automatically.
− Press the "T" test button at least once every 6 months.
− The residual-current device must trip (see also the operating
manual of the RCD).
− If the residual-current device has tipped, turn the switch on
again.
− If there is a malfunction, replace the residual-current device.
