2.9 Personal protective equipment

Always wear
Devices with optional control box
cooling
Wearing personal protective equipment while working is required in
order to minimize health hazards.
•
During work, always wear the safety equipment required for the
respective task.
•
Follow the instructions posted in the work area regarding
personal protective equipment.
Protective work clothing
The following minimum requirements must be met when
performing maintenance on the analyzer:
− Antistatic
− Fire retardant
− Tight-fitting and closed
No rings, necklaces or other jewelry.
Safety boots
The following minimum requirements must be met when
performing maintenance on the analyzer:
− Category S3 and closed
− Antistatic
− Fire retardant
If a vortex cooler is installed, the noise emissions are 85 dB(A).
Wear hearing protection during all work while the device is in
operation.
Hearing protection
Protects against hearing damage.
