Routing Services

Eiconcard Connections for Windows 2000/XP allows branch offices to link together and
transparently share information. Routing Services works with the Microsoft TCP/IP and
IPX/SPX protocol stacks. Routing Services provides local and remote applications with
LAN interconnection over leased lines and dial-up connections, including ISDN, using
X.25, HDLC, Frame Relay, SNA over Frame Relay, or PPP.
Note: The Eiconcard P93 supports only Frame Relay LAN emulation (routing).
Routing Services extends the routing ability of Windows 2000/XP, allowing it to
operate over various WAN links such as ISDN, Frame Relay, PPP, X.25, HDLC,
Eiconcard Connections for Windows 2000/XP router interoperability allows customers to
access the network backbone comprised of different vendors' products (Bay Networks,
Cisco, Ascend). Routing Services also fully supports Microsoft's Routing Information
Protocol (RIP) and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) for "dynamic routing". Refer to the
