- Page 5 One power cord One user manual Operation Place the machine on a firm and level surface where it will be used. Take off the lid and fill with about 5 gallons(18 liters) water(hot or cold). Connect the unit to power, when the red light is on, it means the machine is heating up. Plug the cord into a grounded 22-amp receptacle.
