Connect the ground clip to a conductive part of the vehicle body.
Connect the plug to the disconnected socket on the battery management system. Make
sure that the plug connection engages.
Connect the plug to the socket of the VAS 5581/1A-2 adapter cable.
You can now perform measurements in accordance with the guided fault finding.
