3.2 Operating the engine to regenerate the
DPF for regeneration inhibit mode
(1) Parked regeneration switch
(2) DPF INHIBIT switch
(3) Regeneration indicator
(4) Parked regeneration indica-
tor

3.2.1 PM warning level and required procedures for auto regeneration mode

In the regeneration-inhibit-mode, the buzzer starts sounding and the indicator display changes in response to the PM
level in order to prompt the operator to perform the required procedure listed in the following table.
IMPORTANT :
• Once the regeneration level has been reached, immediately perform the required procedure for
regeneration.
Interrupting the regeneration cycle or continuing operation by ignoring the warning signs may cause DPF
and engine damage.

EXHAUST AFTERTREATMENT DEVICES
1. Start the engine.
2. Press the DPF-INHIBIT-switch
DPF INHIBIT switch lamp is "ON"
Regeneration inhibit mode is activated.
DPF INHIBIT switch lamp is "OFF"
Auto regeneration mode is activated.
The DPF-INHIBIT-switch-lamp illuminates.
When the parked-regeneration-indicator
starts flashing, a specific amount of PM has
accumulated in the DPF muffler.
3. Move the tractor to a safe place and activate the
DPF muffler.
