OPERATION
Possible Cause
Cross shaft shear bolt broken.
Operate in too high a gear.
Blade Scraping ground.
Ballast or traction.
Loose bolts.
Worn universal joints bearings.
Worn Bearings.
Check valve installed wrong.
Hydraulic system failure.
Drum is frozen to housing.

Possible Remedy
Replace Shear Bolt.
Gear down tractor.
Adjust skid shoes.
Install chains.
Tighten bolts.
See your dealer.
See your dealer.
Install check valve as shown on
parts page.
Ensure good hydraulic connections.
Inspect hydraulics for leaks and repair
faulty parts.
Chip ice away from drum or store
indoors to melt.
