Only respond to an incident with a sealed mask/helmet
combination!
The full face mask may leak if a lamp holder is mounted on
the helmet and you push against an obstacle. Leaks reduce
the operation time and can lead to contaminants getting in the
device.
In this case, immediately exit the danger zone.

During use

3.5.1
Low temperatures
Protect the inside of the visor against fogging with "klar-pilot" gel.
3.5.2
High temperatures/alternating thermal stress
WARNING
!
If bubbles appear in the visor, it is a sign that the visor is
becoming soft. In this case leave the danger zone
immediately, as the full face mask can begin to leak.
3.5.3
Chemicals
Some substances can be absorbed by the material of the full face
mask or may even diffuse through it. Further information can be
obtained from Dräger.

After use
1. Remove the lung demand valve or the respiratory filter.
2. Dispose of the respiratory filter.

3. Remove the full face mask:
Pull both mask/helmet adapters to the rear and flip them away
from the protective headgear.
4. Take off the protective headgear.

Maintenance
Following any maintenance work and/or replacement of
components, repeat the leak test.
4.1
Recommended test and maintenance
intervals
The following are recommendations from the DGUV-R 112-190, which
applies in Germany. Observe national directives.
