Never use a mask/helmet combination that leaks!
The mask can start to leak if a lamp holder is attached to the
helmet and the wearer knocks against an obstacle. Leakages
reduce the deployment time and may lead to the penetration
of contaminants.
Leave the hazardous area immediately in this case.

Extreme operating conditions

3.4.1
Low temperatures
Use anti-misting agent "klar-pilot" gel to prevent fogging of the visor on
the inside.
3.4.2
High temperatures/Thermal cycling
WARNING

Bubbles in the visor indicate that the visor is becoming soft.
Immediately leave the hazardous area in this case because
the mask can start to leak.
3.4.3
Chemicals
Some substances can be absorbed by the material of the mask or may
even diffuse through it. Further information can be obtained from
Dräger.

After use

1. Loosen demand valve or respiratory filter.
2. Removing the mask:
Pull both mask/helmet adapters to the rear, then flip them away
from the head protection.

3. Remove head protection.
4. Dispose of the respiratory filter in accordance with the applicable
directives.

Maintenance
Check for leaks again after maintenance work and/or replacement
of components.

Dräger recommends the following inspection and maintenance
intervals. Observe national directives.
