Positioning the Laser: Mount the FLE-444G on a generally level, firm surface or a 5/8” threaded laser accessory eg. a Tripod or a Floor to Ceiling Pillar. You may need to use the supplied post adapter. To operate correctly, this surface must be within +/-4 deg of true horizontal.

80m with the FD-9G line detector. To set Squaring: The FLE-444G does have a good squaring facility to set-out true 90 degrees. Place the instrument on the floor & operate all the vertical lines. These will project along the floor (to set floor squaring), up the walls opposite & square on the ceiling above too.

Use the detector with or without its staff mounting bracket. Model FLE-444GD with Detector: Switch on both the FLE-444G & FD-9G detector. The laser has built-in "pulsed output circuitry". This model has the pulsed output ON all the time. At a distance of 3m+ away, face the detector towards the laser & locate the centreline of the laser beams via the green pick-up window.

If it gets wet during usage, dry before storing & keep in storage temperatures between 5 - 25 deg C. For long-term storage, remove the battery - to prevent any internal damage. There are NO User serviceable parts. We offer a full back-up Service including calibration & usage advice. Accessories for the various Trades are also available - on request.
