Positioning the Laser: Mount the FDG-232R on a generally level, firm surface or a 1/4” threaded laser accessory eg. a Floor to Ceiling Pillar or Tripod. You may need to use an adapter. To operate correctly, this surface must be within +/-4 deg of true horizontal.

The instrument has a fully automatic pendulum system to set true level. (A slide switch / transit latch locks the pendulum when not in use.) IF THE FDG-232R EMITS CONTINUOUS RED LASER LINES & DOTS, THEN THEY WILL ALL BE TRUE LEVEL & PLUMB.
