Switching from a Private Call to a Speakerphone Call

If a VideoPhone call is in progress using the telephone handset, Speakerphone mode
can be enabled:
1. Press the Speakerphone button on the DVC-2000.
2. When the dialog appears on the video display telling you to hang up the phone, go
ahead and hang up the handset.
3. Speakerphone mode is now active.
When in Speakerphone mode, you should face the DVC-2000 VideoPhone unit when
you speak so the microphone will pick up all your words. Speak louder as you move
further from the unit.

Entering Phone Numbers

The DVC-2000 can connect with other i2eye VideoPhones throughout the world. During
the setup of the DVC-2000, you entered a Country code into the Personal Information
screen, along with an Area code and a Phone number. To make calling a VideoPhone
similar to using a regular telephone, you enter VideoPhone numbers in a format similar
to your local telephone system (See Placing a VideoPhone Call on the previous page) .
Videocalls can also be made from the Manual Dial screen using the numeric buttons
on the keypad. The Country code and Area code must be dialed along with the Phone
number on all calls.
After entering the number into the Phone number box, move the cursor to the Dial
button using the arrow buttons on the DVC-2000. To make the call, press the OK button
on the DVC-2000.
