Fan Headers
There are eight fan headers on the motherboard. These are 4-pin fan headers; pins 1-3 are
backward compatible with traditional 3-pin fans. The onboard fan speeds are controlled by
Thermal Management via the BMC (or by IPMI). When using Thermal Management setting,
please use all 3-pin fans or all 4-pin fans.
Internal Speaker/Buzzer
The Internal Speaker/Buzzer (SP1) is used to provide audible indications for various beep
codes. Refer to the table below for pin definitions.
