7.10.2.3 48 V VARIFAN Power Supplies Replacement
Use for replacement the 48 V VARIFAN Power Supply, ADVANTECH P/N 210-450794-002.
In order to remove and replace a 48 V VARIFAN Power Supply, follow the next procedure:
- shut-off the unit from the circuit breaker and unplug the unit from the primary AC
power outlet;
- remove the electrical connections from J1: A7-P1 (or A8-P1), from J2: A7-P2 (or A8-
P2), from J3: A7-P3 (or A8-P3) and from J4: A7-P4 (or A8-P4), noting the place and the
position of each removed connector in order to be able to re-place them exactly in the
same place and in the same position for each connection;
- remove the four screws that keep in place the 48 V VARIFAN power supply;
- remove the defective 48 V VARIFAN power supply and replace it with a new one,
following the above steps in reversed order.
