8. Repeat step 7 to tighten all screws a second time
9. Connect the RF input source to the input of the RF input splitter, see See Figure 1 at page 12
& Figure 2 at page 13.
10. Connect the AC power source to the AC connector (J5) of each amplifier. Refer to Figure 5
at page 22.
11. Connect the Discrete Interface (J3) of each amplifier to the remote discrete operations control
panel. Refer to TABLE 9 at page 19 for pin assignments and Figure 11 at page 35 for a
schematic of a suggested circuit for a suitable remote control panel. If this interface is not
intended to be used, connect pins 8 and 15 on the mating connector provided for (J3) of each
unit.
12. Connect the Serial Interface (J2) of each amplifier to the serial RS232 port of a PC, using a
split serial cable and an RS485/RS232 adapter. Refer to TABLE 8 at page 18 for pin
assignments and TABLE 13 at page 28 for information regarding the connection to the
adapter.
13. Proceed to Section 5 at page 36, for configuration and operation instructions.
NOTE:
The rotating speed of cooling fans is temperature dependent.
