7.10.2.1 Main Power Supply Replacement
Use for replacement the Power Supply PFC 2200W 90-264 VAC, 12 VDC/183A,
ADVANTECH P/N 505-332100-001.
In order to remove and replace the Main Power Supply, follow the next procedure:
- shut-off the unit from the circuit breaker and unplug the unit from the primary AC
power outlet;
- remove the electrical connections from TB1 (Terminal Block #1): TB1-3 Line, TB1-2
Neutral, TB1-3 Ground, noting the place of each removed connection in order to be able
to re-place them exactly in the same place and in the same position of the connection;
- remove the electrical connections from TB2 (Terminal Block #2): TB2-2 +12 V (the red
wire, TB2-1 COM (the black wire), noting the place and the position of each removed
connection in order to be able to re-place them exactly in the same place and in the same
position for each connection;
- open the small rectangular cover located underneath the unit (4 screws); this will leave
an opening through which the main power supply may be taken out from the unit.
- carefully holding the power supply, remove the four screws on the lateral wall of the
unit that keep it in place;
- remove the defective main power supply and replace it with a new one, following the
above steps in reversed order.
7.10.2.2 Secondary Power Supply Replacement
Use for replacement the Secondary Power Supply, ADVANTECH P/N 210-450256-001.
In order to remove and replace the Secondary Power Supply, follow the next procedure:
- shut-off the unit from the circuit breaker and unplug the unit from the primary AC
power outlet;
- remove the electrical connections from J1: A6-P1 and from J2: A6-P2, noting the place
and the position of each removed connector in order to be able to re-place them exactly in
the same place and in the same position for each connection;
- remove the four screws that keep in place the secondary power supply;
- remove the defective secondary power supply and replace it with a new one, following
the above steps in reversed order.
