Similarly, double-click the QM-FTCC-TPS (TPS4/Cresnet) icon in the upper pane to
open its "Device Settings" window. The window displays QM-FTCC-TPS
(TPS4/Cresnet) device information. The Net ID can be changed in this window using
the Net ID tab
NOTE: This procedure sets the Net ID for the QM-FTCC-TPS and the TPS4 in the
program only. It does not automatically set the Net ID for the QM-FTCC-TPS4
hardware. SIMPL Windows automatically changes Net ID values of a device added
to a program if a duplicate device or a device with the same Net ID already exists in
the program. Always ensure that the hardware and software settings of the Net ID
match. For Net ID hardware setting details, refer to "Identity Code" on page 13.
Symbols in Programming Manager
Programming Manager is where programmers "program" a Creston control system
by assigning signals to symbols. The two symbols that make up the QM-FTCC-TPS
(QM-FTCC): Basic Controls and, Microphone Controls; and the third symbol for the
QM-FTCC-TPS (TPS4/Cresnet) can be viewed by double-clicking on the icons or
dragging them into Detail View. A description for each signal in the symbols is
provided in the SIMPL Windows help file (F1).
Device Extender
If you wish to have the program sense the open and closed position of the flip top,
insert the Flip Top Open/Close device extender.

Programming with VT Pro-e

VT Pro-e, design and programming Windows
of unlimited control screen variations incorporating two and three-dimensional
graphics and text. A set of pages, which make up a project, can be designed for each
TPS4 touchpanel application. Each page contains objects such as custom control
graphics, two and three-dimensional buttons, sliders, and digital readouts which
allow the user to interface with the control system via join numbers. Unjoined
objects are not interfaced with the system and thus cannot initiate any functions.
