What are the Marks, Mono, Plane and Edges check-boxes in
Advanced Settings for?
First, remember that anything in Advance Settings is for expert users
only. If you are an experienced, expert user then this explanation will
be helpful to you.
Marks: show what the software recognizes as significant marks on the
golf ball. Ideally, the two dots/ black line should be the only, or at least
the predominant mark highlighted in blue.
Mono: allows you to check the brightness setting. When the Mono
button is checked, the white circle in place of the golf ball should extend
to the edges of the ball. If it does not, the aperture on the Vector Pro is
probably set too dim.
Plane: displays two crosses on the two black dots or a plane line
around the golf ball. The two red crosses should be visible in the two
black dots on the image screens. If using a black line, the red line
should overlap it. This confirms that the software is reading the marks
on the ball correctly.
Edges: confirms that the brightness and focus are properly set to allow
the software to read the entire ball surface.
