GETTING STARTED

Checking the Battery Level

The battery level is displayed on the LCD.

Note:

• Remove the battery from the camera if it will not be used for an extended

period of time to prevent corrosion or battery leaks.

• To extend battery life, the camera will automatically power off after 60

seconds of inactivity. To change this setting, please refer to page 41.

FULL

The battery is full

and ready to use.

EMPTY

Battery is empty

and needs to be

replaced.

LOW

The battery is low

and it needs to be

replaced soon.
