FITTING THE WHEELS
Check that the wheels are correctly adjusted in the frame and front fork and tighten the axle nuts to
the given torque.
Front wheel axle nuts: 25 Nm
Rear wheel axle nuts: 30 Nm
CONNECT THE CABLES
Connect the cables when the arrows are pointing at each other.
ADJUSTING AND MAINTAINING THE V-BRAKES
NOTE: Replace the brake pads before they are so worn that the pattern is worn off, or the wear
indicator shows that it is time to replace them.
1.
Grease the brake wire and thread it in the wire sheath.
2.
Tighten the brake arm wire fastener screw to 6–8 Nm with a 5 mm hex key.
3.
Adjust the brake pads so that there top edge is 1 mm below the top edge of the rim.
4.
Use the adjusting screws for the brake arms to adjust the brake arms so that both brake pads
are 1 mm from the brake paths on the rims.
