BATTERY
Charging the battery
NOTE: Only use the charger supplied with the battery. No other charger must be used.
1.
Make sure that the mode selector on the underside of the battery is in the 0 position.

Connect the battery to the charger and check that the charger's output connectors are in firm
contact with the battery terminals. Plug the charger into a power point.
3.
The battery starts charging and the status lamp on the charger goes red while the charging is
in progress. When the battery is fully charged the status lamp goes green.
4.
When the battery is fully charged, first disconnect the charger from the mains and then
disconnect it from the battery.
5.
Use the button beside the status lamps to check the battery status.
Inserting the battery
NOTE: Check that both battery terminals and corresponding connectors in the battery holder are
dry before inserting the battery.

Push the guide plate on the battery casing into the slot on the battery holder until it comes to
a stop.
2.
Put the key in the lock, press it in all the way and turn it anticlockwise to lock the battery in
the holder.
