FITTING THE HANDLEBARS

1.
Undo the screw on the handlebars.
2.
Stand in front of the bike and hold the front wheel between your legs. Turn the handlebars
until they are at right angles to the front wheel. Adjust the height of the handlebars by pushing
the stem down in, or pulling it up from, the front fork. Note the minimum insert length.
3.
Tighten the clamping screw on the stem that locks it in the front fork. Undo the clamping
screw to adjust the angle of the handlebars, and then tighten it to at least 18 Nm.

FITTING THE SADDLE

1.
The saddle post must be pushed into the frame at least to the circular marking for the
minimum insert length.
2.
Adjust the saddle height by straddling the bike, with both feet on the ground and with the
bike standing straight up.
3.
Adjust the saddle so that its seat is parallel to the ground. This is most comfortable for most people.
4.
Tighten the saddle locking screw and saddle post locking screw to at least 18 Nm.
