Connecting and disconnecting the battery
1.
Put the key in the lock, press it in all the way and turn it anticlockwise to connect the battery.
2.
Turn the key anticlockwise again to disconnect the battery.

The display and keypad are separate units. The display status is controlled with the buttons.
