Intended Use

The cable winch is designed to lift, lower or hold loads by means of an electric
motor. It is by no means intended to transport persons.
The intended use also includes an operation following the operating instruc-
tions.
Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or any
changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious risks and
is regarded as use the contrary to the intended purpose.

Before first Use

Unpack the cable winch and check all parts for damage in transit. Dispose of
packaging material or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags may become a
deadly toy for children.
Install the winch preferably on a
steel tube swivel arm, as shown in
the figure. Make sure the unit is
horizontally mounted.
The used steel tube should have
min. dimensions of 46 x 46 mm and
a min. wall thickness of 2.3 mm.
Anchor the boom permanently to a
wall. The anchoring has to be of
appropriately sturdy design; it must
be able to carry the loads.
