Intended Use

 The hand winch is designed for moving and pulling freely moving (roll-
ing/swimming/sliding) within the limits that are specified in the technical data.
The hand winch must not be used for moving fixed loads and for lifting loads.
 The hand winch is not approved in explosive areas.
 The intended use also includes an operation following the operating instruc-
tions. Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or
any changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious risks
and is regarded as use that is contrary to the intended purpose.

Mounting the Hand Winch

Attention! Always wear gloves when handling the steel cable!
1. Mount the hand crank (3) on the spindle, as shown in the picture on page III.
Attach the hand crank (3) and the securing piece (4b) to the spindle and
tighten both parts with the including self-locking nut (4a). Use a wrench in
order to tighten the nut.
2. Mount the hand crank on a safe and sufficiently weight-bearing ground. For
fix mounting use the provided holes on the mounting plate (8). Make sure
there is enough space for the hand crank so it can turn freely.

Checking the Brake

Before each use of the hand winch, check the proper
function of the brake!
1. Unlock the toggle lever (5) by pushing it to the
middle position. The gear wheel must move
freely. See picture on the right.
2. Unwind some cable by pulling the hook or by
turning the hand crank counter clockwise.
3. Push the toggle lever to the top position. Pull the
hook or try to turn the hand crank counter clock-
wise. By doing this the lock for the gear wheel
must block. It must not be possible to turn the
hand crank.
Before each operation, secure the load against rolling.
