Please mind the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating
the unit. Please pass it along with the unit if it is handed over to a third party!
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a
deadly toy for children.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a quali-
fied person.
For your own safety, always wear safety helmet, safety goggles and
protective gloves when working with the cable winch.
Never stand or work beneath a raised load.
Do not use the cable winch to lift loads over people.
Never shock the load of the cable winch.
The cable winch should be visually inspected for damage or faults
prior to use.
Do not use the lifting cable as a sling. This will damage the lifting cable.
Do not use more than one cable winch systems to lift or to move a load.
Do not use the cable winch if the lifting cable is twisted, kinked or damaged.
Only operate the cable winch when the load is safely secured and protected
against slipping and detaching.
Never use the cable winch, if either lifting hook is stretched, deformed or has a
broken or missing safety lock.
If the lifting cable can not be moved any further, stop working immediately and
check the cable winch for damage.
Never lead the lifting cable and the loads over sharp edges, as this may cause
the lifting cable to break.
Do not use the cable winch in rain or high level of humidity. Do not expose the
housing to direct sunlight in order to avoid overheating and activating the
temperature fuse.
