Getting the lancing device ready

Wash your hands with
soap and warm water.
Rinse and thoroughly
dry your hands.

Remove the cap.
•
Twist the cap
off the lancing
device by turning it
counter-clockwise
while holding the
base firmly.

Insert a new lancet.
•
Load a new sterile
lancet directly into
the bottom of the
lancet holder.
•
In case you
accidently cocked
the device at this
point, press the
release button
before you move on.
