Hardware Description
Reliability
The main control modules, clock modules, and LAN switch modules on the SRUA work in 1:1
hot backup mode, thus improving system reliability.
The two SRUAs work in 1:1 backup mode. Each SRUA monitors the status of the other. If the
master SRUA is faulty, the slave SRUA automatically takes over as the master SRUA.

3.9.2 SRUA

This section describes the appearance, panel, and interfaces of the SRUA.
The MPU of the E8000E-X8 system is SRUA. The SRUA integrates the MPU as well as an
SRU for data switching.

SRUA is used by the E8000E-X8.
