8.5 Climbing - downstairs

NOTE - Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 8!
DANGER - As soon as the climbers assume the load, you feel tension in the handles.
Hold the c-max U2 lower briefly to counteract this tension!
Set in neutral position.
» Climbers have to be retract-
ed entirely.
Press UP/DOWN switch di-
rection DOWN.
» If the single step mode is
activated, press and hold
the UP/DOWN switch until
c-max stops independently.
Climbing downstairs - spiral staircases
To
climb
spiral
staircases,
referred to above in Chapter 8.5.
Please note: The c-max U2 must be repeatedly aligned with
the spiral staircase during the climbing process, so that both
wheels are always in line with the edge of the step to be climbed
next.
Manufacturer's recommendation: Activate single step mode.
Tilt the c-max U2 and keep it
balanced.
c-max U2 descends.

until the safety brakes grip.
Roll c-max U2 forward until
the safety brakes grip.

that are not suitable pursuant
to the technical data. Non-ob-
servance can lead to falling
